JMak is curious, perceptive and dedicated. They have lived on 3 continents so far, speak 5 or so languages and are in the process of switching careers from elementary teaching.

Interests include reading non-fiction, science fiction, knitting, garment repair, taking electronics apart, beating everyone’s ass at Settlers of Catan, research, e-drawing for visual communication.

They hold 3 degrees from the University of Toronto, various certificates from IBM, and are a member in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

JMak has been a practicing Buddhist since taking 5 precepts from Ayya Medhanandi of Sati Saraniya Hermitage in November 2019.
